The redisplay of the Iki-ngyo

Redisplayed as part of the newly refurbished TOSHIBA Gallery of Japanese Art and Design at The V&A, this Life-size realistic figure is a Japanese model of a samurai in full armour called iki-ningyō or living doll. This film follows this object throughout the different conservation processes across different museum departments.
