As part of the African Diaspora, Simone´s work marries Western and African visual languages, bridging the gap between these two histories, and the material shapes and forms that are imbued with cultural history and tradition. In ‘The Shape of Things’ be prepared to take part in her shape analysis. In her exhibition how do circles, triangles and squares work together to create pattern and form.
